Since 1990 A&V Refrigeration has been manufacturing heavy duty Industrial Ice Machines which produces ice in scale or chipped pieces also known as “cracked ice”. This type of ice is excellent for the fishing industry, seafood, meat, poultry, vegetable processing, industrial catering, chemical processing, concrete, and wholesale/retail food industries. It can also be bagged and used for human consumption where size and shape is not a concern. The ice that our ice machines produces is more consistent, melts at a slower rate than other forms and has a low-cost to produce. Our A&V Ice Machines are simple to operate, maintain, and install. It also has no moving parts in the stainless steel ice making zone. All of this gives our ice machines their reputation of quality and is known to have years and years of reliable performance. The A&V Ice Machines are manufactured in the USA and shipped world-wide.
A&V manufactures ice machines with the capacity to produce from 2,000 lbs. up to 40,000 lbs. (900 Kg up to 18,000 Kg) of ice in a 24 hour period. The machines can be adjusted to produce ice from 1/8” to 5/8” in thickness. We manufacture two designs for each of our models, self-contained and remote. We are able to manufacture special designs.
