Tritex NDT manufacture a range of Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges designed to take ultrasonic thickness measurements to inspect and check metal thickness for corrosion. Typical applications include the inspection of Ships Hulls and Decks, Onboard Cranes and Lifting Gear, Dockyard Equipment and Pilings.

• Tritex Multigauges are designed for robustness, simplicity and most importantly, accuracy.
• They use multiple echo to ignore coatings.
• All probes have Intelligent Probe Recognition (IPR), which automatically adjusts settings in the gauge at the same time as transmitting recognition data – the result is a perfectly matched probe and gauge for enhanced performance.
• Automatic Measurement Verification System (AMVS) ensures only true measurements are displayed, even on the most heavily corroded metals.
• Coating Plus+ allows measurements to be taken through coatings up to 20 mm thick, depending on the coating type.
• The gauges can be calibrated for all types of metal.
• Gages are manufactured in accordance with British Standards BS EN 15317:2007 and comply with RoHS and WEEE directives.
• All gauges are supplied with a three year warranty.

Tritex NDT have two gauges for these applications; The Multigauge 5500 which is supplied with a belt clip for hands free use, and the Multigauge 5600 which has a graphical LCD display which gives detailed information such as echo strength, probe type and measurement units.
