Seafood Inspection Services was established in Aalesund, Norway, in January 2000, the main objectives being servicing the seafood business within sales, quality wise (traders).
Since then, Seafood Inspection Services has expanded into several inspection services such as insurance (damage survey), bankers, auditors, lawyers, logistics, transport, fishing fleet and many more.
The main reason for the continuous growth derives from the fact, that SIS has never strayed from its policy of superior customer service, fair business practice plus a responsive, open-minded and professional attitude in all aspects of the business. The latter aimed equally well at the end-users.

The original activity has expanded into almost any kind of inspection, survey, quality assurance, quality audit and so on.
Besides this, SIS is involved with HES (Healt, Environment and Security), Personell book which is internett based.

The main business platforms are inspection and survey and basis for growth.
