Applied Engineering Services Ltd (AES) hold stock of Ericson Safety Pumps and can ship worldwide. These are designed for offshore vessels with shaft sizes up to 160mm and flow rates up to 4800 litres per minute. They work automatically when submerged in an emergency and are extremely reliable and robust. Outside of the Fishing Industry, AES core business is as consultant mechanical engineers who design sailing boat masts in carbon fibre and aluminium. AES also design custom hydraulic cylinders and Applied Marine Hardware is a division of AES that supplies the cylinders which are made in NZ.
